Andrea Allasio, a project manager working for more that 20 years in a large Italian company, has conducted an independent analysis of the Turin-Lyon high speed high capacity railway line. Turin-Lyon project documentation together with transportation and economical studies, UE directives, deliberations of national, regional and local entities have been accounted into evaluation carried out for about 3 months.
The author draws the usual conclusion that a so impacting and overdesigned infrastructure has absolutely no technical and economical justification behind.
The purpose of this document is to provide a correct information on the subject, as the mass media reporting has been so far generally defocused, biased, partial and sometime misconsidering the human capability of understanding.
